itContracting are seeking applications for a Technology Analyst, this is a permanent position located in Waterford.
Responsibilities/Experience:
- Work alongside the customer managers, engineering managers and other stakeholders to define requirements.
- Ability to compose user stories and acceptance criteria based on the business requirements and technical solution design
- Challenge requirements and assumptions to ensure depth of detail required is established to minimise ambiguity
- Ability to draw requirements together into Functional Requirements/Functional Spec, diagrams, process flows so that the resulting document/epic/user story is meaningful for its intended audience
- Ability to work across BAU and multiple projects in parallel
- Ability to support workshops, gathering and interpreting requirements
- Close collaboration and assisting our Vendors with the delivery of the development tasks
- Take on internally assigned Development tasks
- Ensure technical quality and good design principles are followed
- Efficiently integrating new systems, programs, and applications with business operations and services.
- Ability to create and action regression/progression Test scripts.
- Identify upstream and downstream impacts of a business or system change and work closely with teams across the organization to ensure process continuity and integrity.
- Training of End Users
- Operational support of software and Hardware as required
- Technology Ecosystem Components:
- Software: Google Suite, WIS, , bigbin.ie, Xero, Ruby On Rails, Dbase Github, Hosting, Websites, SQL, Security, Mobile App Store, IVR, System integration;
- Hardware: - Apple/PC set-up, Asset register, SMS Eagle
