Guidewire Technical Lead

itContracting are currently seeking applications on behalf of our client, a global insurance provider and FinTech company, for a Guidewire Technical lead.
This is a permanent position based with our client in South Dublin. 

Your Role

As a Guidewire Technical Lead your main responsibilities will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:

- Leads alignment to business strategy, roadmap and platform governance policies
- Delivering a detailed Guidewire Technology strategy identifying the upgrade approach and target platform, shareable assets and best practices to be Implemented
- Articulates the vision and business value (including requisite financial business cases) of building, supporting and developing the roadmap for the platform
- Mobilises the organisation to deliver against the strategy in collaboration with the business entities who use the platform
- Establish and drive the future Cloud strategy and roadmap in relation to Guidewire
- Build and effective delivery model for Guidewire support, including management of the Sis currently engaged to support the software
- Leads the change towards a more agile and innovative approach to developing on Guidewire, including establishing a target operating model, establishing a strong interal Center of Expertise
- Drive standardisation of the Guidewire assets, implement efficient delivery and vendor engagement models
- Building a strong partnership with Guidewire and a strong peer network
- Engage with Guidewire to influence their future roadmap inline with business priorities, ensuring a tight management of solution expenditure  

 
Your Skills and Experience

As a Guidewire Technical Lead your skills and qualifications will include: 

- Successful track record of having delivered similar Guidewire technology transformations in prior roles
- Strong consultative skills combined with hand-on delivery skills
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strong track record of operating and influencing in a global business environment
