Microsoft Technologies Specialist Engineer Dublin

This role is with one of the biggest companies in Ireland and offers plenty of opportunities to learn and progress. You will be working as part of the team responsible for technical support and IT services of multiple environments. This role focuses heavily on Microsoft Technologies but you will need to have a strong understanding of other tools i.e. Linux, Cisco, Vmware

As this is a more senior technical role you will provide support to junior colleagues including mentoring and assisting with escalated issues.

Key Responsibilities:

* Providing support to a range of clients whilst using various technologies
* Working on senior escalations
* Act as a mentor to junior engineers
* Working with the team and management to develop processes and solutions
* Responsible for ensuring that they comply with all ISMS Policies and Procedures

Key Technical Requirements:

* Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012
* VMWare ESXi, HyperV (Citrix Xen an advantage)
* Exchange Server 2007/2010/2013
* Active Directory Office 365
* Firewall/Routers. (Cisco / Sonicwall)
* Strong networking skills TCP/IP/DNS
