Embedded Software Manager

We are working closely with a leading technology solutions provider who are seeking to hire an experienced Embedded Software Manager for their R&D office in Limerick.

Our client is a world leader in IT Infrastructure solutions and specialise in advanced networking technologies.

As part of their organisation, you will be responsible for managing a team of 10+ engineers.

You will be heavily involved with everything, from feature requirement definition and process/best practise development to hands-on work around software architecture and people management.

What you need:

* Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related discipline
* 5+ years managing and leading projects
* Strong commercial background in C/C++ programming and Embedded Systems
* Experience in full software development life cycle
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Knowledge of Embedded Linux, Linux Kernel, Networking and Socket programming not essential but highly desirable
