Our client is in expansion mode, due to some serious inward investment, and so we have wider opportunities in the space of game development than before π Right now looking for a Senior Technical Artist FTW!
Someone to be the effective bridge between the creatives and the techies, we need you to understand both sides :) Its up to you to enable the art team to create the amazing visuals needed for AAA titles, which means working with the techies to get the right tools, and support that the artists need to do their jobs. You will do this by understanding what the issues are, and how they are impacting your team, and then suggesting and enabling the techies to create solutions. You will put in place best practices, agree a schedule and pipeline of requests on both sides, and constantly adapt and learn new technologies to deal with production constraints.
How will you do all this? By *getting it*! you have extensive experience in 2D and 2D computer graphics, game engines and platforms. Through this experience you have gained a strong understanding of technical issues that relate to performance in real-time engines. You are passionate about what you deliver and always want to be doing better, striving for the utmost.
Roles are based in Dublin, Ireland - but of course, mainly remote right now, and requests to stay remote working will always be considered. Great benefits and its exactly the right time to get on board and grow with them - after all we all need to be entertained especially now!
