Cloud Operations Engineer - AWS

I'm currently working with a large multinational organisation within the financial sector who are looking for an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer to join their Limerick based team.

The company are one of the key players within their sector of the financial market, employing over 1000 staff in 30 countries around the globe. They have recently opened their Limerick base and are looking to rapidly expand the cloud operations department.

The successful candidate will be the senior AWS support engineer of the team. You will be responsible for handling support incidents from start through to resolution. Having the ability to communicate with multiple internal teams to find a resolution for any cloud based customer issues. They will also be asked to push a culture of continuous improvement and identifying key areas where automation could be driven to improve process.

Desired Skills/Experience:

* At least 5 years hands on experience supporting AWS.
* Strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture.
* Hands on experience with Jenkins.
* Experience working with Datadog.
* Strong scripting skills.
* Linux systems administration background.
* Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
