So….Who are you?
You are an Engineer with the relevant professional qualification and knowledge of network security. You understand TCP/IP Network & Application layer firewall technologies. Not only that, you genius, you have an ability to manage complex firewall policies, prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Amazing!!
With great power comes great responsibility
You will be responsible for managing and deploying firewalls (Palo Alto, Juniper, and Cisco among others) and site-to-site VPN's. Knowledge of DDoS network admission control and DDoS prevention would be awesome! You will be responsible for assessing incidents, escalating upwards if appropriate - you are the guard at the gate, and its up to you to know if you can deal with it yourself - or call out the big guns! It's a great chance for someone who wants to make a difference in the world by using their techie skills and learn more!
