Aspira is currently looking for a Software Developer with experience in SQL, .NET development, and in developing extensions to Azure DevOps Server 2020

Start date: early January 2021
Duration: 6 months initially, with up to 18 months in total
Location: Dublin, Ireland (remote start an option)

Responsibilities:

• Develop .Net and SQL code as requested by the Solution Delivery Lead
• Develop extensions to Azure DevOps Server 2020 as requested by Solution Delivery Lead
• Liaise with projects to define required work items, states and transitions
• Amend workflows to implement those project requirements
• Create dashboards for monthly reporting in Power BI and Excel, involving use of Azure Datawarehouse, Cube, OAuth
• Support the migration of automated testing to Azure DevOps
• Assist with the development of build / release pipelines
• Training of internal/business user staff in usage and support of platform
• Investigate new concepts such as laptop virtualisation for automated testing

Requirements:

• Technical competence to develop code (incl. .NET, SQL and Azure DevOps)
• Technical writing skills – to complete detailed design documentation to a high standard
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Self-starter with the ability to show initiative and work without supervision
