Automation Tester Mobile Apps
Principle has been retained by a Global Telco who excels in the development of mobile applications to appoint an Automation Software Tester to their team. Due to the continued success and growth of our clients business within EMEA a senior tester with a strong background in automation testing is required.
Working within a large testing team (members in Dublin & the US) the role will require you to design and write test automation scripts using tools such as: JUnit, HttpUnit, Grinder, JMeter, WebLoad or LoadRunner.
A sample of your key responsibilities will include
Coordinate and communicate with developers on bug fixes and required modifications
Identify and document test cases for multi-component systems, clearly defining and managing test specifications.
Develop regression testing framework.
Build automated test framework for backend systems and API’s.
Your Profile
A background in automation testing is essential ideally using testing tools such as Jmeter, Junit, LoadRunner
3-5 years min test experience
Knowledge of networking protocols: HTTP, TCP, SMS, MMS
Experience working within a UNIX/Linux environment
