Network Architect (CCIE / CCNP) required for 12-month contract based in Dublin City Centre. This is an opportunity to work with a large Service Provider reviewing the current topology, making recommendations for network improvement with a focus on Security, Automation and Innovation. This role will suit a CCIE or experienced CCNP with a focus on design / architecture rather than operations

Responsibilities

·         Investigate, propose and implement enhancements to improve the efficiency and performance of the IP backbone and data centre networks

·         Ensure a high level of security standards are maintained

·         Lead innovation to bring new ideas and products to the market quickly and efficiently Responsible for technical reviews before deployment

·         Explore areas of improvement

Requirements

·         CCIE/CCNP with a number of years’ experience in routing and switching (Service provider), WAN technologies, and Firewalls

·         Recent experience should focus on network design / architecture rather than pure operations

·         Understanding of the working and operation of BGP, MPLS VPNs, L3 VPN’s, ISIS, OSPF, Traffic Engineering, VXLAN and QOS

·         Scripting / automation experience is a bonus
