Java Support Developer

Java Support Developer required to join a multinational Client in Dublin 18. The Java Support Developer will join a team who support, maintain, enhance and implement applications for businesses worldwide

Responsibilities:

• Develop applications to solve business problems and enhance functional performance.

·         Work with current development team on ongoing maintenance, updating and customisation

·         Develop application test plans, documentation and undertake testing

·         Specify changes to resolve recurring problems within software applications.

·         Carry out data corrections and corrections of application faults, to produce failure free data and reliable applications.

Requirements

·         Degree educated with 3+ years’ experience in Java Development support or similar

·         Experience on Java 6 and above, Spring and ideally some Javascript

• Experience of working in an enterprise computing environment, using Jira (ideally)
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and practices (desirable)
