About the Role

Our client operates on a global scale and work with some of the world's most iconic brands and are currently looking to expand their SOC centre.

You will be working as a security analyst in the SOC centre, your will be maintaining, monitoring and managing security tools that are currently being optimised by SOC centre. As a senior analyst you will be responsible for mentoring more junior members. This also mean that you will be responsible for reviewing the work of level 1 analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work with the junior analysts and perform network security and treat analysis.
* Monitor tickets to ensure the are responded to with in company set guidelines
* Creation and execution of detection use cases.
* Review and report monthly KPI's
* Give feedback and program recurring tasks
* Manage the SIEM infrastructure
* Review customer security requirements
* Mentor junior candidates
* Identify potential threats and create systems to eliminate vulnerability
* Perform penetration testing

Key Requirements:

* ITIL V3 certified
* CISSP/CISM
* Knowledge using SIEM technology
* Degree educated
* 2 years' experience in are related area i.e. ECH, Security analysis, Network Security
* IDS/IPS understanding
