Senior Scala Developer, south Dublin, 5 month contract

This banking organisation is one of the worlds most trusted financial institutions. This organisation serves clients in more than 150 countries and provide a wide range of services such as banking, investment, asset management and many other risk-management products and services.

Your new role
In your new role you will be a key figure within the team collaborating with agile members and developing relationships across a number of communities. You will be part of an agile team to deliver solutions to business partners and the systems will be built in Scala. Your new team will follow Agile, Scrum and Kanban delivery methodologies with a focus on ATDD/BDD & TDD.

What you'll need to succeed
Your high level of experience in modern OO language combined with your knowledge working with Scala will be to your advantage. You will have strong knowledge of Python, Angular and Hadoop/Spark. Your understanding of fundamental algorithms and ability to optimise existing code will allow you to strive in your new role. Your ability to prioritise and work in a high-pressured environment will enable you to thrive and your experience of scrum/Agile methods will also work in your favour.
