Your new company
The company I'm recruiting for is growing fast and needs a new pen tester to join their ranks. My clients security division provides customers with superior compliance and security solutions. They are industry recognised for their attention to both security and the business needs of a company.
Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for reviewing and testing client environments to make sure they comply with IT security standards and best practices. You will document your findings, observations and recommendations. Some of these such evaluations will require technical penetration ability.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate would ideally have knowledge of some of the following:
* Networking/infrastructure (routing/switching)
* Penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and security assessments (special focus in the Payment Card Industry (PCI) is a plus)
* Security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, two-factor authentication, SIEM, DLP)
* Unix/Linux
* Windows Network Operating Systems/Active Directory/Messaging (Exchange or open source solutions)
