C# .Net Software Development Lead/Manager - Galway

A leading FinTech client of mine based in Galway are looking for a new Software Development Lead/Manager to oversee the technical and line management of a SCRUM development team.

We're looking for someone who is still highly technical and hands on to an extent with coding but is looking to move more into the management space and take on more responsibility on the people side of things.

Responsibilities:

Direct line management of a SCRUM team of C# .Net Developers
Managing and delegating tasks and schedules and ensuring on time deliver
Management of technical knowledge across the team and ensure technical communication runs smoothly
Mentoring and coaching individual team members where required
Implementation of performance reviews including the setting of goals and the monitoring of progress
Strategically driving forward the development team through architecture and new technology adaptation
Advancement of both own technically knowledge and collective team technical knowledge
Handling system critical bugs and supporting services where required

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years development experience with C# .Net stack
Understanding of C#, .Net, Visual Studio, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Jira
Strong agile SCRUM background
Experience managing people before (Does not need to be from a managerial title)
