Network Security Engineer - Lvl 2/3 - Dublin
€55-75,000 DOE
We are currently working with a client that work in multiple areas of information security including, network security, end point protection, support and design.
The client are well renowned throughout Ireland for their technical expertise, recently winning a number of awards for innovation and professional development.
The client are on the look out for talented professionals, subject experts in their field to continue the quality delivery of their service. The team is in a period of growth. Immediate plans are for 3 new hires with growth doubling in the coming months. The client are seeking Team Leads, Level 3 & Level 2 engineers that can take charge of the new Security Team.
You will be passionate in the field of Security and will have a broad IT Security background. Excellent communication skills are a must along with a willingness to learn and develop your career. You will be acting as one of the senior escalation points, mentoring junior staff and adding value in the Security team where you see fit.
Network Security Engineer Requirements:
* Degree in an IT related field or years experience
* Strong experience in Networks & Security (VPN's, IPS, IDS, Firewalling, Proxy's)
* Technology Checkpoint, Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, F5
* Exposure to scripting would be a plus (powershell & bash)
* Security Testing tools such as Kali Linux are advantageous
* Remote access solutions
* Industry certifications
* Ability to work on your own or part of a team
