Senior Java Developer

* 6 month rolling contract, very competitive daily rate

Great contracting role with a figurehead financial services organisation who are going through a large piece of IT transformation at present.
You'll work on a meaty project building out a backend REST API / Spring Boot applications which control a suite of core applications to the business. The role will require a Senior Developer who has both a strong understanding at high and low levels.
If you a advocate for quality, efficiency and automation it could be fair fit. They have automated deployments, JIRA pipelines, builds, strict procedure on unit testing etc.

Desired Skills / Experience

* 5+ years Java development experience
* Strong experience developing around the Spring framework / REST APIs etc.
* A good understanding of Spring Boot and building scalable applications with Spring Boot
* Fair experience around JPA / Hibernate etc
* Comfortable with deep hands on development and high level design
