Head of Ecommerce
You will provide the crucial link between the company’s websites and its business objectives. We want individuals who are driven by being better than our competition. The successful candidate will have a commercial mind, passion for problem solving, UX/UI, an understanding of business requirements, a passion for better understanding and predicting our customers’ buying behaviours and the ability to deliver exceptional management to their team and online excellence to the company.

Responsibilities of the Head of Ecommerce Role:
• Manage all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion and A/B testing and reporting
• Develop and implement Ecommerce strategy in order to improve website performance
• Work with developers to improve website speed and efficiency
• Work with the marketing team in order to improve quality and traffic acquisition
• Research the market to discover new trends and technologies in order to improve website performance
• Analyse various data in order to deliver data driven strategies in order to deliver top performance and achieve KPIs
• Develop content calendar and oversee website uploads and landing pages development
• Report on performance to key stakeholders
• Define and deliver best in class digital UX and UI
• Manage third party vendors when necessary
• Manage and develop the online team ensuring a strong learning and development culture exists


Required Skills and Experience for the Head of Ecommerce Role:
• A relevant bachelor’s degree e.g. Digital Marketing, IT, Business
• 6+ years in an Ecommerce environment in a similar role
• Excellent understanding of web design and web analytics
• Proven experience in analysing customer buying trends and patterns
• Knowledge of Bulk Editing, Multi-Attribution modelling, Bid Management across networks, A/B testing of adverts, Google AdWords
• Proven experience in online product management, overseeing a dedicated team
• An uncompromising focus on user-centric design, applying intellect, data, research, and well-honed judgment to ensure you’re focused on making the biggest difference to our users with your work
• Understanding and experience in UX, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Google Analytics
• Strong working knowledge of digital marketing channels such as PPC, SEO, Social Media Display and affiliate marketing channels
• Knowledge of Attribution modelling, website speed optimisation, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimisation, traffic analysis and reporting tools
• Strong experience of managing marketing and development teams and projects
• Highly commercial, knows what levers to pull to improve revenue
• Experience in technical and commercial ownership of online channels
• Exceptional analytical and technical skills
