This is a great and progressing Infrastructure Engineer opportunity with a dynamic and leading Life Science organisation.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who has a solid IT skills and knowledge. You will be responsible for managing specific IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on server and workstation platforms. Candidates will be required to have excellent communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to work on their own initiative.
Responsibilities include:
Provide technical expertise, install, maintain and oversee various systems, network applications and infrastructure in response to the business needs.
Working as part of the infrastructure team to support, manage and maintain the site IT infrastructure.
Knowledge and understanding of all infrastructure components such as Windows & Linux server platforms.
Installation, upgrading and troubleshooting of Hardware and Software where required.
Provide troubleshooting help to others in the IT department when necessary.
Design IT infrastructure that conforms to client engineering standards
Promoting use of system functionality and new technologies to improve work processes.
Essentials Skills:
Experience in Manufacturing IT systems infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage and backup systems, and infrastructure
Cyber Security experience would be an advantage
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical, Electrical or Bio-Process Engineering, or Information Technology
4-5 years in an infrastructure position
Experienced in configuring and maintaining virtualized systems.
Excellent communication skills
