About the role:

Whilst continuing to develop their IT systems my client has an opening for an IT Helpdesk Administrator to join a small but growing IT team. The main responsibilities of the role will be to provide 1st and 2nd level helpdesk support to the business, be involved in the provision of new equipment, on-board staff, execute internal moves, provide deskside support and guidance, undertake user administration and work on a number of IT Projects.

Responsibilities:

* Check and analyse issues and escalate as required
* Provide regular updates and follow up on resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction
* Creation and cessation of end user accounts
* Install, configure and support various computing equipment
* Handling moves and add-ons of desktops / phones
* Assist clients when on-site with technical queries
* Support staff remotely when they are travelling

Requirements:

* Degree in IT Systems Software, Computer Science, Cloud Computing or equivalent
* Professional work experience in an a IT helpdesk environment
* Experience and working knowledge in the following technologies is required:

* Windows 10
* Windows Server 2012
* Office 365
* Adobe
* SharePoint Online
* Active Directory
* OneDrive for Business
* Skype for Business
* Azure Cloud

* Basic understanding of computer networks (TCP/IP, VPN)
* Familiarity with most common mobile operating systems (iOS, Android)
* Cable management, patching racks & cabinets and electrical cabling is essential
