My client provides merchant payments solutions for both physical and online merchants, specialising in the SME markets.

The company plays an important role in the everyday life of millions of people. For their customers, they are the link between the parties involved in almost any type of payment transaction.

The Role

The Partner Account Executive will be responsible for delivery of sales through affiliate, lead referral and eCommerce partners. You will be assigned a defined list of partners and you will have responsibility for managing them on a day to day basis, ensuring that all opportunities are fully investigated and converted to sales where possible.

This is an office-based, targeted sales role with account management responsibilities and occasional travel to attend on-site Partner meetings

The Responsibilities

* Deliver monthly sales target for new business coming exclusively from existing Partners
* Manage conversion of inbound leads from members of partner organisations
* Embed yourself within the partner organisation, becoming the go-to person for commercial enquiries.
* Maintain a consistent level of sales activity in line with KPI's set out by your line manager.
* Spot opportunities for new partners and make initial 'touch' where appropriate.
* Assist with commercial proposals to new partners
* Assist with reporting on activity such as inbound referrals and web enquiries
* Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reviews for partners
* Liaise with partners and internal marketing teams on sector campaigns.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and decision-makers to ensure smooth on-boarding and problem resolution for customers.

The Requirements

* Experience in B2B sales.
* Experience in B2B Account Management is an advantage.
* Highly effective at building, nurturing and managing relationships, producing a strong flow of warm leads / sales.
* Must be target driven and excel in a competitive environment.
* Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal.
