itContracting, on behalf of our client, are currently seeking applicants for an iOS Developer. This is a permanent position based with our client in Waterford.

Responsibilities:

* Developing modular mobile applications for the iOS platform
* Providing root-cause analysis of issues, debugging errors and making changes as necessary
* Contributing to the overall design of the solution and selection of technologies
* Collaborating with technical and business stakeholders on providing the best technical solutions
* Collaborating with the QA team to ensure everything works as it should

Experience & Skills Required:

* Third Level Degree/ Masters in computer-related discipline
* 2+ years of native iOS development experience with Swift
* Experience with native and third-party connectivity frameworks
* Experience with multi-threaded development
* Experience with modular source management tools such as CocoaPods, Carthage
* Experience with Closures, Protocols, and Observers
* Experience with JIRA or similar tool
* Experience working in an Agile environment including Agile development methodologies
* Passionate about technology with the ability to incorporate new languages and tools when needed
* A methodical programmer with a focus on design, code readability and documentation
* SCM using Git, Git workflows
* Building, debugging, automated test (unit, functional) and continuous integration

Preferred:

* Experience with developing and creating CocoaPods
* Experience with developing native iOS apps using Objective-C
* Experience with Fastlane
* Experience with Appium

* js (express.js, angular.js, vue.js)
* Golang
* Postgres and Redis
* AMQP - RabbitMQ
* Docker, Ansible and AWS Infrastructure
* Continuous Delivery using GoCD
* Git
* Micro services architecture
* Smartcards and smartcard readers
