The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical support to the BI platform, data integrations and reporting services. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical support to business users on existing BI solutions, assist in data processing, reporting, troubleshooting and issue resolution on data integrations
  • Manage and administer BI jobs and schedules
  • Assist in new data Integration developments and enhancements
  • Work with business users on data discovery process
  • Prioritise, resolve incidents and requests raised by business users
  • Participate in the analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, implementation of new BI Data sources
  • Assist with the maintenance & upgrading of BI Applications to ensure they are maintained and patched to required levels
  • Ensure BI Applications conform to system architecture standards and best practices
  • Change and Release Management of BI Solutions through BI Development life cycle

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ Years of IT Technical Support and Development experience
  • Programming Skills – SQL, Oracle and/or SQL Server
  • Support and Development experience using Microsoft BI Technology Stack – SSIS, SSAS and SSRS
  • Technical knowledge & experience on Data warehouse
  • Use & Knowledge of any BI Reporting tool – TARGIT would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Master Data management – Microsoft MDS would be an advantage
  • Experience in programming using C#, APIs would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology
  • Knowledge of ITIL
  • Flexibility to perform tasks outside of normal course of work when needed
  • Proven record of being customer focused with a real desire to develop effective working relationships with other individuals and teams
  • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to work in pressurised environment
