Scrum Master - Dundalk

Exciting opportunity for a Scrum Master to work with an award-winning company. The candidate will take up a leadership role within the company's software development team.

Responsibilities:

We are currently looking to recruit a Scrum Master to take up a role within the software development division. We seek applications from candidates with the following experience:

Have at least 1 years experience of working within software development teams

Have at least 6 months experience of playing the Scrum Master role in a software development team

Define metrics to correlate elapsed time with scope of work completion

Expertise in using tools such as Confluence/Jira/Slack as part for the Project Management of the project

Experience of running Sprint Planning/Retrospective/Grooming Meetings

Maintains the Scrum team capacity plan, Scrum board, sprint backlog, velocity charts and burn down charts

Identifies and helps remove impediments to the success of the Sprint

Identifies and communicates potential risks to the completion of the Sprints, including resources, costs, and systems. Recommends appropriate solutions

Directs appropriate and timely communication with all department managers and customers throughout the life of the sprints

Supporting and working closely with the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog. Experience/Understanding of performing development and software testing throughout the software development lifecycle, ideally in a Linux environment.

Project Status Reporting

Self-driven, flexible and resourceful with ability to motivate teams to meet milestones.
