The Head of Engineering DevOps will lead quality engineering for the automation of processes. The Head of Engineering DevOps will have experience leading teams on implementing a DevOps approach. The Head of DevOps Engineering will also have knowledge of the latest DevOps tools, automation, CI/CD, Robotic Process Automation, environments & performance testing, data and tooling and SDLC experience. The Head of Engineering will ideally have strong service leadership, programme delivery and resource management expertise.

This Head of Engineering DevOps opportunity exposes the incumbent to:

* Setting the DevOps strategy and road-map for delivery to clients and internal process
* Consult and collaborate with teams to deliver & introduce best fit DevOps tools and delivery
* Programme Delivery with a panoramic view of services to business unit
* Grow revenue for the business through new and existing clients
* Cover automation, devops and CI/CD
* Lead on innovation and thought leadership
* Manage resources and develop, lead, attract and retain talent for the organisation
* Manage stakeholders and be an influencer, leader and motivator at all levels
* Leadership in a C level executive role

What the Head of Engineering DevOps needs to be successful in this role:

* Have experience in a Senior Management or Director role with strong consultative and collaborative skills
* Effective communicator with experience presenting to teams and leading workshops
* Have demonstrable experience with continuous integration and continuous development, agile processes, automation and DevOps
* Have strong experience delivering complex IT programmes
* Have managed stakeholders and worked with C suite executives
* Have software architecture, enterprise architecture, IT engineering, quality assurance or software development experience
