Consultant (Permanent position) Dublin 12
What does the role involve:
• The focus of this role is to support the Digital Services team to develop more opportunities and relationships with both our current and new clients
• Be a “trusted expert advisor” when needed - maintaining detailed industry knowledge.
• Post sales Solution Architect ownership of delivery activities.
• Develop upselling opportunities with our current and new customer base
• Oversight on Solutions which will enhance our capabilities to deliver on time and on-budget
• Lead Proof of Concepts for new offerings and Solutions
• Provide mentoring and coaching for Digital Services team
• Technical Account Management for leading Managed Service accounts
• Manage Design Authorities engagement and Technical Roadmaps with our Managed Service clients
• Define and assist with all new solutions and offerings that go to market
What experience will you have:
• A third level qualification in IT or relevant experience
• Professional ICT accreditations
Ideally over 2 years’ experience of working as a Solutions Architect within a professional services environment, including 5+ within the IT industry
• Experience in developing and implementing complex IT services
• Architecture experience in conceptualization, definition and solution development.
• Experience in the design and implementation of the following:
o Cloud Solutions and Transformation Services
o Modern Workplace
o Security & Resiliency
o Networking
o Infrastructure
• Strong business, commercial and risk management awareness with proven ability in the application of technical design governance.
• Technical consultancy experience covering a variety of clients, a formal solution design and development methodology, formal project lifecycle experience, and experience of leading the technical design and implementation of a number of significant projects.
• Solution pricing.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, aligned to CTO, CIO and Architect level
• A team player, have the ability to both lead and contribute to teams as they are formed e.g Bid Teams, Account Teams, Technical Teams
• Strong business, commercial and risk management awareness with proven ability in the application of technical design governance.
