QA Lead Agile Tester
The Role
Become part of a QA Innovation team, participate in software delivery and maintenance of banking software. You will have opportunity to join big transformation programs as well as agile feature teams developing new innovative banking software solutions. As a Lead Agile Tester, you will be an advocate for baking quality in early into the SDLC and be able to work within the constructs of an Agile process, including SCRUM, Continuous Builds and integration.
Actively participate in all SCRUM ceremonies and responsible for test case preparation and execution. Ensure that all related testing tasks are executed in time and results of tests are communicated to all stakeholders within required timelines.

Key Duties & Responsibilities for the QA Lead Agile Tester Role:
• Prepare and maintain Test Strategies for delivered new software or software change.
• Plan test activities, monitors progress and well able to adapt to changes.
• Delivers test analysis, e.g. test objectives, scenarios, scripts and based on defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with the cross-functional team, test Sprint backlog items as early as possible.
• Reports defects including all related information, circumstances, test data used etc.
• Investigates defects in collaboration with developers and business analysts.
• Describes requirements for test data and prepares required test data.
• Proposes test automation scope, identifies tests suitable for test automation.
• Reports test progress and results and escalates to test manager and/or Scrum Master timely.
• Provides information to evaluate quality gates, entry/exit criteria.
• Works in line with all IT rules and policies.
Education & Experience for the QA Lead Agile Tester Role:
• ISTQB (Agile) certification is an advantage.
• 4+ years in testing / QA.
• Banking knowledge is an advantage.
• Other IT experience and technical knowledge is an advantage.
Essential Skills for the QA Lead Agile Tester Role:
• General knowledge of banking products and services.
• Knowledge of testing mobile applications (IOS & Android)
• Hands-on experience using JIRA, Adaptivity Test Management System, SOAP-UI, POSTMAN.
• Knowledge of System test techniques and automated testing tools.
• API testing experience will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Agile process and SCRUM framework.
• Advanced analytical skills.
• Strong drive to achieve results, advanced communication and inter-personal skills.
