This Telecommunications Engineer will be a telecommunications professional with experience deploying and designing fibre optics, IP, voice, data and radio solutions for clients. The Telecommunications Engineer will engage with customers and employ desktop analysis prior to providing to telecommunications technical support onsite.

As a Telecommunications Engineer you will apply solutions design by:

* Preparing and evaluating technical responses to RFQ and PRQ
* Conduct desktop analysis and track all applications
* Provide pre-sales and technical solutions to clients
* Support management on new solutions, products and problem resolution
* Provide technical expertise to clients and channel partners
* Work through projects and provide feedback to customers throughout the project
* On the installation and commissioning front:
* Perform product configuration and troubleshooting of customer issues
* Install company products and solutions according to requirements
* Install and maintain equipment and adhere to method statements and risk assessments
* Provide out of hours support and obtain customer sign-off
* Build and maintain customer relationships

Skill-set required to deliver in this role:

* Hold a Telecommunications or Electronics third level degree
* Have over 5 years experience in voice, IP, voice, data and fibre optic deployment and design
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Fluid communicator and the ability to multi-task
* Good negotiation skills
