Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer - Technology on strategic and tactical planning
• Define product roadmaps, schedules and the release scope and ensure that features developed are delivered on time and meet business and customer requirements
• Manage and communicate with senior stakeholders to ensure timely and need-based delivery and expectations
• Maintain ownership of department budgets and relevant KPIs
• Lead and mentor the Product Development teams and lead architectural design and decisions
• Own the Software Development Life Cycle and Product Development processes
• Deliver best-in-class technical solutions to support the business strategy and needs
• Manage all services and support deliverables and processes
• Take full responsibility for services and support delivery timelines and overall quality
• Manage cross-country deliveries and multiple projects simultaneously
• Establish and own organization-wide IT infrastructure including hosting environments
• Be responsible for cybersecurity and awareness within the organization
• Ensure compliance with quality management standards across the technology group
• Recruit and retain top talent to build a strong team in a competitive environment
Experience Requirements
• BSc in Computer science or equivalent degree supported with relevant work experience
• 10+ years of relevant hands-on work experience in a software engineering capacity.
• 5+ years proven ability to recruit and manage technical teams (including performance management)
• Solid track record demonstrating technical capacity (technical vision, architecture, etc.)
• Proven ability to adhere to financial budgets, allocated resources and timelines
• Extensive experience in agile or scrum development methodology
• Ability to communicate at a senior level
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects
