Technical Operations Manager required for a leading pharmaceutical company based in Cork. The successful Technical Operations Manager will be an experienced People Manager with experience in project management and/or data management. The successful candidate will be a leader, who consistently exceeds expectations, thrives in a challenging and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
· Full line management responsibility for a high performing team of SME’s (currently 6-8 people)
· Ensure that a high performance culture is maintained by the team members
· Be accountable for overseeing of the various deliverables which the team is responsible for
· Mentoring the team members with their professional development and career journey
· The Technical Operations team works cross-functionally and supports numerous areas of the business in matters such as: System Development/Technical Enhancements, Bug Fix solution definition, User Acceptance Testing, Web Service, Oversight and execution of Content Management changes, Data Management etc
· Lead medium sized projects, or workstreams within larger projects
· Demonstrate excellent communication and change management skills with stakeholders at multiple level.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Strong Leadership skills and people management experience, with extensive experience of coaching and developing employees
· Experience of leading cross functional projects and continuous improvement activities.
· Experience of developing talent and succession planning
· Customer centric focus with experience of delivering world class service
· Experience working in fast paced, dynamic and complex regulated environment
· Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills and capable of problem solving and conflict resolution.
· IT or Project Management qualification would be an advantage
Remuneration:
· 60-65K starting salary
