Tier 1, Cyber Security Analyst
My client based in Limerick requires a Cyber Security Analyst (Tier 1) to join their team on a contract basis in Limerick. You will be a part of the cyber coordination center and play a crucial role in protecting and defending networks and information.

* 6 month contract
Role
* Conduct security monitoring
* Incident identification, prioritisation and escalation
* Analyse alerts and gather information regarding potential incidents and vulnerabilities
* Leverage security runbooks and playbooks to triage alerts
* Escalate to tier 2 and 3 analysts when necessary
Requirements
* 3rd level degree in Computer Science or other IT discipline
* 2+ years experience in an information security role with monitoring and response in a complex environment
* Knowledge of cyber incident response processes
* Experience with Splunk, SourceFire, Cisco AMP, Bluecoat advantageous
* Strong analytical, technical and communication skills
