Network Engineer (NOC) Level 1

About this role:

My client prides itself in developing the best fibre infrastructure in Ireland. They operate cutting edge fibre optic infrastructure capable of delivering nearly unlimited bandwidth to the majority of towns and cities in Ireland. Their commitment to providing a best in class service has lead them to require a Network Operations Centre Engineer (Level 1) to join their team based in Limerick. An excellent working environment, coupled with exposure to some of the best technology in Ireland is available to a NOC Engineer with 1 - 2 years commercial experience.

Role and Responsibilities:

* Troubleshoot and diagnose all faults using my clients' state of the art tools and monitoring systems.
* Managing faults through my clients ticketing system.
* Managing client queries, concerns, and request in a professional and timely manner.
* Installation and testing of equipment in accordance to my clients procedures.
* Monitor and action all aspects of the clients network.
* Working in a 24/7 rota.

Skills required

* 1-2 years' experience in working in a networking, telecommunications, telco environment
* Highly organised and used to high level of documenting workload
* Strong attention to detail
* CCNA certified or similar, equivalent experience will be considered
* ITIL knowledge desirable
