ASP.NET Core Developer
A leading provider of innovative healthcare solutions and the fastest growing software technology company based in Cork is looking for a ASP.NET Core Developer to join their team. The ASP.NET Core Developer will work alongside an enthusiastic and motivated team of cross functional engineers (Development, QA, DevOps) writing high quality, secure and scalable code.
You as a ASP.NET Core Developer will:
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Expand and build on the commercial applications supporting multiple platforms
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Work across web, mobile, and desktop technologies
• Work through all aspects of the development life-cycle

The requirements for the ASP.NET Core Developer:
• 4+ years of hands-on software analysis and development experience with knowledge and experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent years of professional work experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience with GIT (Pull Requests, Branches, Code Review)
• 4+ years of working with Visual Studio (2012 or higher)
• 4+ years of in-depth experience with the following server-side technologies: .Net Framework 4.6 or greater, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework
• Minimum 1 year of experience with ASP.NET Core 1.0 or greater and Entity Framework Core
• 4-6 years’ proficient in C#, with a strong knowledge of their ecosystems
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Client-side technologies including HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and experience using a JavaScript framework such as Angular or React with Typescript
• Skill for writing reusable libraries
• Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
• Knowledge of concurrency patterns
• Experience building RESTFUL web services
• Experience with server administration/deployment on IIS
• Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
