IT Field Engineer required for permanent position in Offaly / midlands region. The successful IT Field Engineer will join an existing team providing remote and onsite Technical Support to a list of SME clients. You will have client-facing experience in hardware installation, software rollouts, Server support and network troubleshooting.

What will you do?

• Network/Server Support including cabling, hardware and software installations.
• Provide end-user support in response to calls logged with the Helpdesk.
• Hardware / Software support & troubleshooting
• Software rollouts, ghosting and anti-virus support.
• Troubleshooting problems with printers, faxes and photocopiers.
• Produce weekly management reports on service level agreements, advised improvements.

All you need is…

• Previous experience in Infrastructure support - field experience preferred
• Windows Server (Active Directory & Exchange)
• Networking skills (firewalls,
• A full driving license
• IT certification such as MCSA, CCNA (an advantage)
