My Galway-based client is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join their fast growing team. As a successful Senior Software Developer, you have the passion for software architecture and design and enjoy building applications in a cross-platform environment. The main responsibilities of the successful Senior Software Developer will be:
• Write well designed, reliable, testable and reusable code by using best software development practices
• Collaborate with the entire development lifecycle of analysis, design, implementation and test
• Detect, report, inspect, and fix product defects
• Automation, including writing unit and integration tests
• Cooperate on projects with a team comprised of varying skillsets through code reviews and design discussions
• Provide technical guidance on the research and development of new products and services
• Develop innovative solutions to tackle big industry problems
The successful Senior Software Developer qualifications are:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Background and experience with C# .NET
• Demonstrable versatility in multiple front-end and back-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, NodeJS, REST APIs, JSON, WCF, Web API, Unity, LINQ
• Experience or strong interest in agile methods such as Scrum/XP, Behaviour Driven Development, and Continuous Delivery
• 5-7 years’ experience working in software development environments where you are building back-end and front-end components of Web applications
• Good understanding of data modelling and storage with well-known relational database (preferably SQL)
