Head of IT Governance - Dublin
Up to €110k DOE with benefits
A truly fantastic opportunity has opened within my client's IT Department for you to join as the Head of IT Governance. You will be joining the Dublin office and employed by one of Ireland's leading distributors in the drinks industry that employ over 500 people.
New offices with easy access via public transport.
You will be reporting to the Group Head of IT Governance in the Governance team which provides support to the IT organization and plays a role of coordination between IT and other departments (HR, Audit, Finance, external vendors).
You will have a number of responsibilities including:
* Defining the Business Technology Strategy and IT governance, in line with guidelines and ambitions for the future.
* A member of the IT Leadership team.
* Evaluating the performance of the IT organization and the value added
* Improving the maturity of the IT Organisation.
* Ensuring that IT resources are utilized supporting the business process
* Managing the IT budget and monitoring IT spending and associated risks.
You will also have extensive experience in IT Financial Management, Strategy, Capacity Management, Process Management, IT Audit, Project Management.
Skills Required:
* 10-15 years of previous experience in IT
* Further education in Engineering or Business school, Computer Science
* Experience in IT Governance
* Hands-on experience with IT Solutions or Infrastructure delivery.
* Ability to think strategically and develop
* Excellent knowledge of IT strategies.
* Familiarity with project methodology.
* Ability to interact with other IT departments and various corporate profiles.
* High degree of autonomy.
* Excellent time management, decision making, organization and interpersonal skills.
* Creativity and a wide degree of latitude are expected.
