Experienced Systems analyst / Business Systems Analyst required to work on the development of a replacement system for the medical unit of a large multinational organisation engaged in the Food, Drink & Hospitality sectors.
The existing system is no longer fit for purpose (Access, Excel and basic SQL database) and the hiring manager is seeking someone with the expertise to gather & analyse the requirements of the medical unit, create the functional & high-level technical specifications and then interface with an external development vendor to create a new bespoke solution & to deliver the new system (software solution).
The system is not complex but is essential to this Business Unit, so an experienced Analyst is needed. You will be required to develop a new GDPR - compliant payments system with web and/or mobile capabilities. It is a small system, so the project is expected to take no longer than 6 months.
The core elements of the role will be:
* Requirements gathering
* Develop Functional Specification
* Liaise with external development vendor
* Ensure development of interfaces to 2-3 other systems
* System test the developments
* Supervise Acceptance testing
* Supervise cleansing of existing data and upload into new environment
* Documentation & Reporting
* Manage environment through to go-live and support
* Contract Duration = 6 months . Daily Rate contract.
