Senior Developer - Tech Lead [.NET/C#]
Role:
Our client is a leading global vendor of legislative and regulatory software solutions. Their software is used by financial firms, legislatures, governments, legal teams and compliance professionals worldwide.
They are currently looking for a Senior Developer - Tech Lead to join an International market-leader in cloud-based solutions with offices in Dublin 14 and USA. This is a career making opportunity to take ownership for a new development team responsible for developing world class enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Technical team leader for a development team working on a new Company product
* Facilitating delivery from concept/requirements definition to deployment in a fast paced environment through the full project lifecycle
* Communicate sprint and release progress to team
* Ensuring the quality of delivered software through maintenance of unit tests and continuous integration.
* Coach the team in effectively applying scrum approaches
* Direct "hands on" development of core modules on time and to required quality
* Drive / Motivation to deliver on commitments.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* A flexible attitude with proven experience of working in small project teams.
Requirements:
* BSc Computer Science, similar discipline or equivalent work experience.
* 6+ years commercial C# Development experience in a Product / SAAS house
* 2+ years in lead role with strong leadership, facilitation and coaching Skills
* Tech experience in: SQL (Data Integration) / C# / MVC / .Net / SQL Server / HTML / ISS etc
* Excellent analytical and communication and problem solving skills
* Drive / Motivation to deliver on commitments, and to motivate others to do so
Nice to Have(s):
* Knowledge of source control software such as GIT, SVN.
* Knowledge of work with SOA design and integration using web services.
* Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) a distinct advantage.
