Support Engineer
itContracting are seeking immediate applications for a Senior Deskside Support Engineer for a contract position based in a short distance outside of Cork City. This contract will commence on 10th September.
Key Skill Requirements:
* 3 years+ similar experience
* Backups Management - Legato Networker, ARCserve/BrightStore or similar
* Windows desktop rollouts
* Client Support - Microsoft Windows XP, Win7
* Excellent Client PC and Laptop hardware replacement, maintenance and troubleshooting
* Microsoft Windows Server setup, administration and support
* Active Roles / Active Directory
* Network/Comms - Cisco switch (VLAN/port configuration, support)
* Printer setup, maintenance and configuration
* Application support - for e.g. AS400 (installation, account maintenance) or similar
* Client VoIP desk phone local setup
* PC imaging and deployments
* Microsoft Office and/or Office 365 support
* Outlook in an Exchange environment
* Client data transfer
* Client Wi-Fi troubleshooting
* Client Antivirus
* Peripheral device support
* Vendor Management
* Infrastructure Project experience
* Professional IT certification desired
Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or currently hold a Stamp 4 Visa to apply.
