The Product Owner interacts with external stakeholders and the internal development team. The Product Owner will ideally be coming from a microbiology or laboratory setting with experience with software and systems development. The Product Owner will be a strategic thinker and have experience with medical software.

Main Duties of the Product Owner

* Capturing requirements and developing specifications for project deployment and road-map development
* Identify solutions to customer needs and develop concepts for features and products
* Define the solution and features into stories for the team
* Develop functional specifications and system design specifications
* Facilitate workshops and participate in Scrum, Sprint and backlog meetings
* Review product documentation and test cases
* Interact with the customer and development team
* Ensure enforcement of project deadlines and deliverables
* Be the subject expert on microbiology products

Qualifications and Experience

* Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, bio-medical engineering or related Engineering
* 4-5 plus years experience in analytical or microbiology systems in a regulated environment
* Excellent project management skills
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Experience and understanding of medical software
* Excellent communicator and analytical skills
