We are now looking for a Frontend Engineer (and travel enthusiast😊) to be joining the Vienna office of an emerging tech Startup. Relocation is required & VISA/relocation support offered.
The company
The company was launched 5+ years ago and so far they have sorted the product/market fit, and now they are progressing up the pyramid and scaling the business - raised close to $20 million USD to date - the focus this year is on technology, so this is a chance to build something of value, and also get your hands on emerging tech, the Mobile team is now being built from scratch. There are 25 Engineers x 5+ nationalities in Vienna only, sharing a nice office in the heart of the city. The plans are to use its latest funding to double its headcount, by hiring tech & product people.

Responsibilities
Develop new user-facing features
Build reusable code for future use
Ensure and promote a high-level frontend software development standards
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimize applications
Skills
Web development experience incl. HTML5 and CSS3
Strong JavaScript skills (incl. ES2016, jQuery, Zepto)
Profound understanding of SCSS/CSS
Knowledge of Modern Web APIs, responsive design and mobile first approach
