Software Engineering Director

Exciting new challenege for a senior engineering / software professional to join a global operation who have recently set up a new entity in Dublin, as Software Engineering Director you will have ownership of all technical aspects of the business leading the design, execution, and quality assurance process for the entire product portfolio.

Managing an agile technical team of 10 across 2 locations and with an end of year plan to double this team this is an exciting rapid growth stage of the business.

As Software Engineering director you will have end to end ownership of engineering development and operations of current products including the delivery of new product types such as mobile and desktop apps. International travel will be required depending on business needs.

Key Skills & Experience

* 10+ years of relevant hands on work experience in software engineering
* Solid background experience recruiting and managing technical teams
* Solid track record demonstrating technical capacity (technical vision, architecture etc)
* Experience managing technical budgets
* BSc in Computer Science or other relevant degree
* MSc in Management or MBA
