Leading web design company seeking a UX developer / front end developer.

Your role will be to work directly with graphic and web designers to turn flat designs into responsive websites. You will be involved with projects of all sizes including e-commerce sites and larger sites and will also work with back end developers.

Candidates must have the following skills:

• HTML 5
• CSS 3 (SASS ideal but not essential)
• Bootstrap 3 & 4
• Knowledge of javascript and jQuery, at least to write simple functions and implement third party scripts and libraries if necessary
• Familiar with working with wordPress, ideally including the knowledge of working with hooks and filters as well as light development
• Knowledge of PHP not essential but an advantage

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in a similar role with experience working on your own projects and as part of a team.

It is essential you are able to write clean, W3C valid HTML that is both light and responsive.

This role is open for start mid May or sooner, reference and previous work essential, salary depending on experience.
