QA ENGINEER
As the QA Engineer you will be extremely organized, have an unparalleled eye for detail, and be confident in their findings to act as the final say on whether code is ready for production or needs a rework. An understanding of the development process is a must, however the individual for this role does not necessarily need experience coding as much as they need experience testing website features and trying to break them. You must possess an almost obsessive-level for attention to detail and an ability to think outside of the obvious ways of using features to be capable of excelling at finding ways something could be used that a developer may not have thought of. Requirements:
• 1-3 years of working on a development team, in any capacity (we’re willing to train the right person if this is truly want they want to be doing)
• Ability to review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Mastery of the English language, both written and spoken, and ability to communicate your ideas clearly and concisely
• Proven track record of working in demanding, detail-oriented positions that require constant communication among a team
• In-depth understanding of eCommerce and common website and application features, along with confidence in your understanding of best practices
• Strong desire to constantly be learning and improving both yourself and the products our development team produces (be prepared to spend a great deal of time doing research on standards and best practices)
• Obsessive-level attention to detail, willingness to delay shipping new code to production if it doesn’t meet your high standards
• Extremely tech-savvy, with a firm grasp on how to best communicate feedback to developers for a variety of situations
• A general passion for engineering and technology

Nice to have:
• Past experience working in an Agile team that implements daily Scrums
• Experience with basic coding of any kind to better understand the process
• Experience using workflow platforms to provide feedback to development teams, such as Trello, JIRA, etc.
• Understanding of code Version Control Systems (like Git) and deployment processes
• Experience working as a QA Engineer in the past
