TalentScope Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of our client, are seeking applications for a Service Architect to work within their IT Operations team.

 The Role

 *You will be responsible for ensuring that all service models and service solution designs fit with strategic, architectural and other corporate environments, allowing for scaleable solutions and achieving operational excellence

*Responsible for ensuring the consistent design of appropriate services, architectures, technology, processes, information and metrics to meet current and evolving business outcomes and requirements.

*Building a detailed and in-depth understanding of the stakeholders requirements.

*Ensuring that Service Designs that are produced meet and fulfill the documented business requirements

*Producing quality, secure and resilient designs for new or improved services, processes or measurement systems to meet agreed current and future service requirements of the organisation.

*Producing and maintaining all design documentation, including designs, plans, architectures and policies.

*Producing and maintaining all necessary Service Design Packages (SDPs) based on service charters and change requests.

*Measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the Service Design Process.

 Skills & Experience Required

 *Minimum of 5 years experience in an Operational Management role operating within complex, distributed IT environment

*Minimum of 5 years relevant experience managing delivery of services in an ITIL environment

*Experience in managing and influencing Stakeholders and teams in a busy, multi-site environment as well as multiple IT suppliers and operating in a managed services environment. Also experienced at managing stakeholders at board level

*Experienced in engaging directly with customers in support of the clarification or shaping of needs, definition of requirements and priorities, identification of solution options and development of solutions

*Excellent knowledge of the dynamics of infrastructure and application technologies in order to implement service governance around identified key risks

*ITIL V3 Foundation/Practioner and Service Operation Certified

*Project Management (PMP/PMI or Prince2) Certified

 This role would suit IT Operations/Service Managers who are seeking a non people-management role and who would like to focus their careers on the design element of Service Delivery

This role will not support applications requiring sponsorship. All Candidates interested should be already eligible to work in Ireland/EU or hold a current Stamp 4/Critical skills permit.
