TalentScope Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of our client in Dublin city centre, is seeking applications from Infrastructure Project Managers with 5 years Project Management experience.
Ideally coming from a technical background, but currently more experienced in project delivery (from conception to sign-off), you should be aware of projects around systems rebuilds, security, product/application introduction.
The user based is about 500-600 users and projects can range from Infrastructure to Applications but a good operational project manager who can oversee daily/weekly progress is required - ie this is quite a fast paced involved role with small to medium term projects.
Skills
*5 Years IT Project Management experience (mainly Infrastructure but some software also)
*Strong ability to work on own initiative and provide guidance to other IT Leaders about the best course of action in terms of process/progress
*Strong knowledge of IT Systems - whilst not a hands-on role, you should be familiar with the latest IT technologies, trends and upcoming issues for the IT Department
*Project Management Certification - Prince2 or PMP
*Experience working with a number of concurrent small to medium term project and the ability to oversee these on a daily basis.
*Ability to converse, and liaise with senior stakeholders on a daily basis
*Ability to source/negotiate with third-party providers
