TalentScope Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of our client, are currently recruiting for a Technical Infrastructure Operations Manager for a Permanent role.
Role.
As the Technical Infrastructure Operations Manager, you role will be to provide overall technical direction and guidance to the operations of the business. This is a senior technical role, with a high level of technical competence required. The role will be reporting to the CTO of the organisation and the departments under your remit will include Systems, Security, Networks and Applications.
Candidate.
You should have (as a technical manager/leader) experience in managing teams who will be looking after virtualised hosting infrastructure, application deployment and providing excellent service to clients. You will have overall responsibility for Technical Operations, ITIL Processes, Internal IT, Infrastructure, Hosting Suppliers, Networks, Client Operational Relationships, PCI Level Security and Service Operations.
Duties/Responsibilities
*Leading the Service Operations Team to consistantly exceed SLA agreements
*Ensuring all security processes/procedures/technologies are current/active/inplace (PCI-Level Certification)
*Leading the Service Operations Team in the implementation of ITIL best practice in managing Infrastructure and ongoing systems operations.
*Experienced in Budget management/Control
*Acting as Senior escalation point for technical issues
*Ensuring excellence in client deployments
*Working with Product Development/Client Delivery teams to ensrue that the products and clients projects adhere to best practice.
Skills Required
*Proven skills in managing 24x7 support teams in a high volume technological environment (eg. Banking/Finance/ECommerce)
*Strong experience of Enterprise Scale Systems and Networks plus cloud-based hosting technologies.
*Cyber-Security Aware and PCI DSS Certification process experience
*Quality Experience - ISO9001/27001
*Experience of working in Data Centre and hosted environments providing high availability .
*ITIL V3 Framework accreditation and strong ITIL Methodology expertise.
*Strong Technical knowledge relating to Application Management, Infrastructure, Storage, Databases, Application Architectures).
Candidates should have the ability to develop and build strong relationships with senior level management and clients as well as the ability to take senior ownership of escalated issues and see them through to resolution.
