Lead Security Engineer

A leading Irish based software company are seeking the talents of an experienced IT Security Engineer.

The company are a real leader in innovation and have received a number of awards within the IT Business sector. You will be working with a number of teams including infrastructure and solution specialists but primarily using your expertise to develop IT Security Solutions.
A chance to bring your experience and expertise to help shape and develop the Security landscape.

What you will do:

* Design & develop strategies within IT Security such as IPS, IDS, Threat Management/Detection, SIEM, Load Balancing, Networking
* Implement and ensure that regulatory and compliance standards are followed, in particular Data Protection & Security.
* Work with Architects to design in depth defence strategies

Skills:

* Background in designing and delivering security policies with a hands on approach.
* Network Security background in firewalls, IPS, IDS, SIEM
* Computer Science related degree or similar
* Working understanding of Linux O.S, particular Red Hat
* Cisco based product knowledge
* Previous background in Telecoms industry advantageous
* Cloud Infrastructure - Azure, AWS, VSphere
