Our client has an immediate permanent position for a Business Analyst / Product Owner based in Dublin.

This role may suit a candidate with prior experience in Application Support experience before transitioning to a Product Ownership/ Business Analyst role

Our client, who recently established a Centre of Software Development Excellence, Innovation and Support in Dublin's Southside, is a global services company with business operations in the US, Canada, South America, Australia and Europe.

Their focus is to provide a state of the art platform to their global businesses, delivering stable, efficient systems to customers, retiring legacy applications and transitioning to more modern technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

* You will be working in a project based, agile environment
* Responding to customer requests for new features / functionality, governance, and automation services
* Representing the voice of the customer back to the Development Delivery Services team on new programs of work with a focus on new releases, the continuous integration process, and maintenance of the data stores.
* Engaging with the customer business lead to clarify business requirements and review / update of the project backlog
* Participating in solution design and data design reviews and updating documentation, user stories, as appropriate.
* Participating in project / sprint demos and design reviews incorporating it into planning for current and future roadmaps
* Developing the knowledge database.

Experienced Required:

* 2+ years' experience in a business analysis / product owner role for a diverse and expansive suite of business applications.
* 2+ years practical experience in a Technical Application Support role for large scale enterprise solutions within a global environment
* Experience working in an Agile Environment.
* Familiar with Global Support / Business Analysis (scale).
* Know-how working with Offshore / remote teams.
* Knowledge of Unix / RDB/Web applications and solutions
