Our client is a rapidly growing company with a large team in Castletroy in Limerick. They work in small Scrum teams of 4-7. Every team member is encouraged to take full ownership of their part of the platform but also to contribute ideas, suggestions and code to other areas of the business. They hold monthly hackathons where team members bring their most creative ideas for the product; some of which even make it to production the same night! They are now looking to hire a number of developers for their team in Castletroy, Limerick. Job description:
As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for the development, performance and scaling of the corporate website, as well as the various internal systems. This entails using technologies such as C# 6.0, ASP.NET MVC and Web API, JavaScript, AngularJS, RabbitMQ, SignalR, SQL Server, git, Octopus Deploy and Microsoft Azure.
You will also be responsible for idea generation, speaking your mind and questioning decisions, and helping to build a great work culture that you will enjoy working in every day!
Candidate profile:
You have a degree in a relevant subject area. The career level for these roles are at the junior level, so anywhere from one to three years’ software development experience in C#, Java or JavaScript would be required. You should have an interest and ability to learn other programming languages and technologies as needed and be able to work independently in small teams.
